My Favorite Outdoor Wedding Venues
Oregon has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world… so why wouldn’t you want to be surrounded by this natural beauty on your wedding day? I absolutely LOVE outdoor weddings in Oregon!
I have many favorite outdoor wedding venues in Eugene and Lane County, and I’m constantly discovering new ones. Here’s my top five recommendations for couples getting married in 2025 and 2026.
Mount Pisgah Arboretum might be my all-time favorite wedding venue. It’s affordable, wheelchair accessible, beautifully nestled in a grove of oak trees, and includes 4 bathrooms and plenty of shaded reception space for up to 200 guests…. although I prefer weddings with between 60 and 150 guests for everyone’s comfort! This is a great place to host multigenerational celebrations, as the venue is comfortable for both kids and elders.
You cannot beat this view! Perched on a hill overlooking a beautiful agricultural valley, Sweet Cheeks Winery is a fantastic spot to say “I do” just 20 minutes south of Eugene. I recommend this venue primarily for adult celebrations, since the earliest ceremony start time is 6:30 pm (after the winery closes to the public). The beautiful string and tree lights help to illuminate the patio after sunset.
A unique, gorgeous bed & breakfast tucked into the forest slopes north of Eugene, Mount Tom House is the perfect place for a wedding that lasts all weekend. This venue welcomes children, dogs, and adventurers, and can accommodate over a dozen guests in their well-appointed rooms for the night before and the night of your wedding.
Shadow Hills is more than just a golf course: the side lawn is a beautiful space to host a garden party, and the covered patio can provide protection from rain or harsh sun during your outdoor ceremony. With their full-service catering & bartending and in-house tables, chairs, and linens, Shadow Hills Country Club is a great choice for couples who want an easy-breezy experience.
Dreaming of getting married beside the McKenzie River, surrounded by manicured gardens? Eagle Rock Lodge is the venue for you! With a giant riverside lawn to host your reception, gorgeous gardens, and overnight accommodations for you and all your wedding party, this special gem is just 45 minutes east of Eugene, Oregon.
